Women’s Health

What is Women’s Health? LCPTI is implementing a program to provide innovative treatment for health concerns specifically related to women. Our women’s health therapist is trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She will provide one on one patient care and patient specific programs to improve the overall health of women.

What to expect at LCPTI? The patient will complete paper work related to their condition. An assessment of their overall impairments is then performed. Most patients do require both an external and internal evaluation of the pelvic floor musculature to determine the best treatment.

Available Treatments:

  • Exercise as appropriate for their condition

  • Biofeedback for improved muscular awareness
  • Muscular stimulation
  • Education to improve bladder habit
