Matt Callahan, PT, MTC, OCS

Matt Callahan, PT, MTC, OCS, CHT

Matt is a 1987 graduate of Union Area High School and 1991 graduate of Slippery Rock University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Matt completed his education at Slippery Rock University and obtained a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 1994. Matt attended the University of St. Augustine and obtained his certification as a manual therapist as well as attending Michigan State University of Osteopathic Medicine to continue his study of manual medicine. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Most recently he graduated from Drexel University's Hand and Upper Extremity program.

He is a certified hand therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.

Karen Wharry, DPT, CLT-UE

Karen Wharry, DPT, CLT

Karen is a 1997 graduate of Laurel High School and 2001 graduate of Carlow College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Karen continued her education at Slippery Rock University and obtained a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. Karen is also a certified lymphedema therapist and specializes in treating women's health related issues.
Frank Sapanaro, SPT

Frank Sapanaro, DPT, CWcHP, OCS, Vestibular Therapist

Frank is a 2001 graduate of Riverside High School and 2005 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Frank continued his education at Slippery Rock University and obtained a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2009. Frank is also a Certified Workers' Compensation Healthcare Provider accredited through the International Sports Professionals Association. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He recently completed a vestibular rehabilitation competency-based course co-sponsored by Emory University & the APTA.
Sean Kantola, DPT

Sean is a 2005 graduate of Laurel High School and 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Sean continued his education at Slippery Rock University and obtained a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011. Sean is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist accredited through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Spinal Manipulative Therapist accredited through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. He recently became certified in Temporomandibular Management accredited through the NXT GEN Institute of Physical Therapy.

Tricia Craven, PTA, CLT

Tricia is a 1994 graduate of Shenango High School and 2005 graduate of Penn State University where she received an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy. Tricia is also certified as a massage therapist and a certified lymphedema therapist.

Rachel is a 2008 graduate of Wilmington Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University where she received an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy.

Joshua is a 2008 graduate of Hubbard High School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University where he received an Associate's degreee in Physical Therapy.

Emily McKissick, PTA

Emily is a 2010 graduate of Laurel High School and 2014 graduate of Slippery Rock University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. She continued her education at Penn State University where she received an associate's degree in Physical Therapy.

Jamie is a 2006 graduate of Laurel High School and a 2009 graduate of the English Nanny and Governess School where she received a nanny certification. Jamie's primary responsibilities include administrative assistant to Matt Callahan, MPT and Dr. Frank Sapanaro.

Chelsea is a 2006 graduate of New Castle High School and a 2010 graduate of Westminster College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. Chelsea's primary responsibilities include administrative assistant to Dr. Sean Kantola and Dr. Karen Wharry.
Susan Mehallick

Susan Mehallick, ATC/L

Susan is a 1994 graduate of North Ridgeville High School and a 1998 graduate of Heidelberg College where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine. She has been a licensed certified athletic trainer since 1988 and is currently working part time @ Kennedy Catholic High School. Susan's primary responsibility is to manage the insurance needs of LCPTI.

Brenda is a 1976 graduate of Mercer High School and spent 30 plus years working in the Credit Union industry before joining LCPTI. Her primary responsibility is maintaining our pool and pool area for our aquatic therapy program.
Barb Callahan, MS, ATC

Barb Callahan, MS, ATC/L

Barb is a 1990 graduate of Wadsworth High School and 1994 graduate of Slippery Rock University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a concentration in Athletic Training. Barb continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh and obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training in 1996. Barb's primary responsibility is LCPTI's practice management.
